Recent headlines in digital policy showed that private companies continue to face pressure from governments, while the tech industry continues to push the boundaries with technology. Internet disruptions were at their highest in the past few months, as discussions on how technology can further advance the attainment of the 2030 Agenda mounted.

We will map the broader digital developments and link them to Geneva dynamics, such as: interdependence, sovereignty, governance, trust, inequalities, and inclusion. You will also be able to learn about the GIP’s plans for the 2020s, including a few innovative breakthroughs ahead of us.

Join Dr Jovan Kurbalija in situ, on Thursday, 30th January 2020, from 13:00 - 14:30 CET, at the Geneva Internet Platform, WMO/OMM (Level 2), 7bis, Avenue de la Paix, Geneva. Please remember to bring a valid form of identification to enter the building.

Lunch will be provided.

*Please note that the event will not be livestreamed.
