[Update] Event reports are available.

The 'AI for Good Global Summit 2018' will be held on 15–17 May 2018 at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The event, described as the leading UN platform for dialogue on artificial intelligence (AI), is being organised by the ITU, in partnership with XPRIZE Foundation, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and sister UN agencies.

Under the theme 'Accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)' the 2018 summit will identify practical applications of AI and supporting strategies to improve the quality and sustainability of life on the planet. The discussions will be structured along four tracks:

  • AI and satellite imagery
  • AI and health
  • AI and smart cities and communities
  • Trust in AI

Each track is presently curated by a team that will present an overview of its work on Day 1, and a summary of its findings on Day 3.

Participation will be free-of-charge, however, seats are limited. Registration will be carried out exclusively online.
