The Data 2025 - Conference will take place on 19 March at the maison de la Paix in Geneva. Jovan Kurbalija, founding director of DiploFoundation and the head of the Geneva Internet Platform will speak on Internet governance at the first session: What is data?

The conference, organised in collaboration with C4DT (EPFL), will disucss what data is, based on technical and economic realities. It will start with the present, but look forward to the opportunities, and the challenges, that new technologies will bring for the year 2025.

This event is held in the context of the Road to Bern, a series of events in Geneva leading to the United Nations World Data Forum, which will take place on 18-21 October 2020 in Bern.
