The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) will host its annual E-Commerce Week on 16–20 April 2018, at the Palais des Nations, in Geneva, Switzerland.

The event will be focused on the role of digital platforms in the evolving digital economy. Digital platforms bring together and aggregate demand and supply in ways that were not possible before, including in geographical areas/service sectors traditionally neglected.

Held under the overarching theme 'Development dimensions of digital platforms', the E-commerce Week will offer participants an opportunity to discuss key challenges and opportunities arising from such platforms, and identify concrete actions to harness maximum benefits for developing countries.

More information will be made available on the dedicated webpage.
