The Summer School, offered jointly by the WIPO Academy and the University of Geneva (UNIGE), provides an opportunity for senior students and young professionals to acquire a deeper knowledge of Internet protocol (IP), to gain an appreciation of IP as a tool for economic, social, cultural, and technological development, and to understand the role that WIPO plays in the global administration of IP. The programme consists of lectures, case studies, simulation exercises, and group discussions on selected IP topics, with an orientation towards the interface between IP and other disciplines.

The Summer School will take place on 24 June - 5 July. The first week of the Summer School will be held at WIPO’s Headquarter and the second week at UNIGE.

Participation is open to students in any field of study or discipline, from law to economics.
