On Wednesday 26 August 2019, the GIP was visited by a group of students from the School for International Training (SIT) Study Abroad programme. The SIT programme is an undergraduate programme which offers a semester abroad and gives students the opportunity to focus on critical global issues such as human rights, global health and sustainable development.

After a lecture from Prof. Michael Kende (Visiting Professor at the Graduate Institute, Geneva) about the economics of the Internet, the students worked on a case study on Internet access in a fictional country. The students were split into representatives of the private sector, the government and the civil society sector in order to find solutions for the issue.
