Digital Diplomacy in Practice: How Knowledge Sharing Happens (and Not) throughout the UN System

Event description

Event date: 24 November 2022, 13:00–14:15 CET

The UN Knowledge and Learning Commons and Diplo will host an online event to explore the future of digital knowledge in diplomacy, and how we could implement it in practice.

Speakers from both organisations will elaborate on the gap between the rhetoric of knowledge sharing and the actual reality based on data analysis, highlighting the interlinkages between international and local Geneva while examining how International Geneva is perceived at other diplomatic hubs.

Diplo will present substantial evidence through its X-ray studies, Geneva’s Digital Footprint, and social media data analytics tools.
