The annual World Telecommunication/ICT Indicators Symposiums (WTIS) gather ministers, business leaders, regulators, national statisticians, academics, data producers, analysts, and partners to discuss the latest trends in digital development and its data-related aspects.
The 18th WTIS, themed ‘Advancing the measurement agenda to achieve universal and meaningful connectivity,’ will emphasise the significance of assessing the enablers that facilitate connectivity and demonstrate promising methods.
WTIS-23 primarily focuses on individuals responsible for telecommunication/ICT statistics in relevant ministries, regulatory agencies, telecommunication operating companies, and national statistical offices. Additionally, other experts keen on information society are more than welcomed to participate.
