Over the past decade, there has been significant technological advancements in the information services available to parliamentarians, progressing from web-based intranets that grant access to legislative documents to mobile applications like ‘MP briefcases’ that enable remote access and participation.
The next phase in digital services for lawmakers is not only focused on informing and facilitating their work but also on empowering them to be more effective in their legislative evaluation and decision-making responsibilities.
The Open data hub and IT governance hub are jointly hosting a webinar as part of the 2023 Transforming Parliament webinar series under the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Centre for Innovation in Parliament.
