Event dates: 29–30 November 2022
The Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) will jointly host a high-level event titled Strengthening Multilateralism Through Science.
In the context of the 50th anniversary of UNEP (UNEP@50) and the Stockholm+50 meeting brought by the UNGA Resolution A/RES/75/280, the two-day conference will discuss the milestones achieved so far, and assess ongoing and upcoming global efforts pertinent to science-based sustainable development.
The conference will begin with the high-level political panel titled Science Diplomacy. The second session will be the thematic panel Science and Global Cooperation, while the third session is From Science to Zero Pollution Actions.
