Held in conjunction with the 12th UN Forum on Business and Human Rights, the B-Tech Project under the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is hosting a Generative AI Summit to explore and further define the undertaking of human rights due diligence when putting AI in practice.
The full-day Summit will:
- Present the B-Tech Project’s papers on human rights and generative AI;
- Identify practical uses of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and other human-rights-based approaches in accounting for the impacts of generative AI; and
- Provide a platform for discussions in the implementation of the UNGPs for generative AI and other general-purpose AI.
Speakers and attendees come from a multitude of stakeholder groups, including the private sector, civil society, international organisations, and the investor community.
